Respondent(s) https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 4219 of 2024 PRAYER This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of 4th respondent and to quash Clause 4 of the Special Condition of Contract for Sewer Line Maintenance, in Notice Inviting tender in e-Tender No.48/PHD/ 2023-2024 dated 06.02.2024 uploaded in the official website of the respondents on 09.02.2024 permitting only the owners of the Vehicle Mounted with Jetting and Suction units as tenderers (excluding / denying such opportunity as tenderers to the Hirers / Lease holders of Vehicle Mounted with Jetting and Suction units) as arbitrary and illegal, consequently, direct the 1st to 4th respondents to include a Clause in the Tender Document in E-Tender No.48/PHD/ 2023-2024 dated 06.02.2024 permitting both the owners and hirers / lease holders of the Vehicle Mounted with Jetting and Suction units on production of documents to that effects namely, Lease Agreement, R.C. Book of the owner / lease holders of the vehicle and to entertain the petitioners bid document to participate in the above tender namely, attending and Rectifying blockages in the existing urban sewerage system and sewer lines of Puducherry Town and fringes for the period from May, 2024 to April 2025.
