This appeal has been preferred against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 24.10.2009/26.10.2009 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, (Fast Track Court), Hisar vide which the appellant has been convicted under Section 15 of NDPS Act and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one year and imposed a fine of Rs. 30,000/- with default mechanism. 2. Learned State counsel, at the very outset, on instructions from ASI Vikram submits that appellant has died on 20.11.2011 and photocopy of his death certificate has been produced in the Court. Same be retained on the case file. 3. In view of the above, proceedings against the appellant in the present appeal stands abated.
