We are informed that as per communication dated 15.09.2025 addressed to Shubham Prakash Mishra, Central Government Panel Counsel and Assisting Counsel to Ld. A.S.G [S.D. Sanjay] that the appointment of Technical Member (State) of the GST Tribunal is under consideration with the ACC in

2025:HHC:33295 - 2 - accordance with the Annexure I to the First Schedule [Rule 6(1)] of the Government of India (Transaction of Business) Rules, 1961. It has also been mentioned that BSNL building in Shimla has been identified for sitting of GSTAT Bench and operationalization of the Bench is expected soon.

Keeping in view above, we are of the considered opinion that the matter requires closure and it would be expedient that Union of India will act upon the recommendations received at the earliest and thereafter State shall make necessary arrangements. Ordered accordingly.
