Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Pankaj Patel, learned counsel for the respondent no.1. Notices to the respondent nos. 2 & 3 is hereby exempted. Present petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "I. Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding the opposite party No. 2 to decide the Departmental Appeal dated 01.04.2025 preferred by the petitioner before him, which has been pending for consideration since then, contained as Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that departmental appeal has been instituted on 7.8.2024 which is still pending consideration. He submits that interest of justice would be sub-served if the appellate authority, i.e., Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited, Lucknow is directed to consider and decide the same within stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this Court. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the submission aforesaid. Considering the innocuous prayer of the petitioner, without entering into merit of the case, the appellate authority/Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Purva Sainik Kalyan Nigam Limited, Lucknow is directed to consider and Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Manmohan Singh, Ashrut Singh, Sandeep Kumar Ojha Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
