For the respondents : Mr. Anup Rattan, Advocate General with Ms. Menka Raj Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, for respondents No.1 to 3. Mr. Chitranjan Sharma, Advocate, for respondent No.4. Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief:-
“(i) That the respondents may be ordered to pay pension to the petitioner as per notification dated 4.5.2023, under the old Pension Rules, 1972 from the due date with all benefits incidental thereof.”
2. Pursuant to the several orders passed in this petition from time to time, the respondents have now come up with 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes
2 instructions dated 03.05.2025 inter alia stating therein that the petitioner has deposited requisite Government contribution in the Treasury; Petitioner’s case had also been sent to the office of the Accountant General, Himachal Pradesh on 04.03.2025, which has approved/sanctioned the basic pension to the petitioner w.e.f.
01.04.2023. In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the relief prayed for by the petitioner now stands granted to him, therefore, the writ petition has worked itself out. In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of as relief prayed for by the petitioners stands granted. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of. Jyotsna Rewal Dua
