The present writ petition relates to an order of cancellation of registration dated 16.01.2021. The petitioner has not been able to indicate the reasons for the inordinate delay in filing of the writ petition. 2. In light of the same, we are of the view that the discretionary jurisdiction of the writ petition cannot be exercised in favour of the writ petitioner as the writ petitioner has been negligent. In light of the same, we do not see any reason to interfere with the order dated 16.01.2021, wherein the order for cancellation of registration of the petitioner firm was passed. 3. The petitioner shall be at liberty to apply afresh GST registration in accordance with law. 4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
