Heard Ms. Kanisha Serin, Advocate holding brief of Sri Shamsad Ahmad Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State- respondents no. 1 and 2. This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to harass the petitioner or adopt any coercive method against the petitioner or his family and further restrain the opposite parties from interfering in the peaceful life and liberty of the petitioner and his family in any manner whatsoever. A further prayer has been made to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to conduct fair and impartial enquiry and punish the guilty police personnel in accordance with law. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that despite there being no FIR registered against the petitioner, the respondent authorities are harassing the petitioner by repeatedly visiting his house. On the other hand, learned AGA, on the basis of instructions dated 12.11.2025 sent by Sri Abhishek Pandey, Sub Inspector, P.S. Gazipur, Lucknow, states that there is no FIR registered against the petitioner and he is not being harassed by anyone. The aforesaid statement of the learned AGA has been recorded.
