The above writ petition has been filed to declare the inaction of respondents 3 and 4 in disposing of the appeal dated 01.02.2025 filed by the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made applications dated 28.05.2024 and 01.02.2025 under the provisions of the 3 Right to Information Act, 2005 (Act 22 of 2005) before the 4’^^ respondent. Since the 4^^^ respondent failed to furnish the information, the petitioner filed the appeal on the file of the 2"^^^ respondent. The 2"'^ respondent did not dispose of the said appeal. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the 3'^ respondent passed the orders vide Rc.B.973/2025, dated 23.06.2025, made an endorsement and the same was communicated to the petitioner by DTDC courier. A copy of the endorsement was handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the endorsement does not indicate furnishing the requisite information sought by the petitioner. 6. As seen from the prayer in the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that the 3"'^ respondent has not disposed of the appeal filed by the petitioner. By endorsement dated 21.06.2025, the appeal filed by the petitioner was disposed of. If the petitioner has not been furnished the requisite copies, since an endorsement is made, if the petitioner is aggrieved, is at liberty to challenge the said endorsement before the appropriate authorities as per the provisions of the Act. 7. 8. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed.
