Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. The present writ petition has been filed with the following relief:- "a- Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the opp. Party no-2 to provide permission in respect of cutting of 155 (teak) Sagaun trees planted by the petitioner over his own land Gata no- 800 Area 0.0481 hectare situated at Gram Saraiya, Pure Visen, Aliganj, Pargana Meeranpur, Tehsil- Sadar, P.S. Kudwar, District- Sultanpur, to secure ends of justice. b- Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the opp. Parties no- 2 to decide the representation dated 30-09-2025 as contained as Annexure No.3 to this writ petition." 3. The petitioner is directed to make an application as provided under the provisions of the U.P. Protection of Trees Act, 1976. If such an application is filed within a period of two weeks along with the requisite fees, the authority concerned is directed to expeditiously look into the said application and pass necessary orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of the said application. 4.
