Vakalatnama filed by Ms. Shefali Singh, learned counsel on behalf of the respondents is taken on record. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Shefali Singh, learned counsel for the respondent. Present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to issue writ of mandamus commanding the respondent to pay the post retiral dues to the petitioner forthwith. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has been retired after attaining the age of superannuation on 30.5.2025 from the post of Executive Engineer and the retiral dues have still not been payed even after passing of five months. He submitted that the petitioner has made claim of post retiral dues, vide letter dated 28.11.2025, which is still pending consideration before the respondent. Therefore, submission is that the respondents may be directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 28.11.2025 and make endeavour regarding payment of retiral dues within stipulated period of time, as may be fixed by this Court. Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to the submission aforesaid. Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the case, the respondent/Managing Director, U.P.
