ORDER:
The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of the Respondent No.2 in considering the representation made by the Petitioners on behalf of Sasikanth Nagar Residents Welfare Association to stop construction of Eat Street as the area was earmarked for development of walk way and cycling track as per the Municipal Council Resolution dated 12.07.2021.
2. Learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent Corporation passed on the Written Instructions of the Deputy City Planner, Municipal Corporation, Kakinada, dated 17.06.2025, wherein it was stated that there is no such proposal from the Respondent Nos. 2 and 4 or any other organization to construct Eat Street in the schedule locality as alleged in the Writ Petition. The relevant portion of the Written Instructions is extracted below:
“ As per the facts explained above, the Respondent Nos. 2 and 4 submit that the respondents not proposing any Eat Street in the walking track and Cycle track proposed

area. Petitioners filed the Writ Petition only by their assumptions”.
3. In view of categorical denial of the construction of Eat Street by the Respondent Authorities, no further orders are need to be passed in the present Writ Petition.
4. The Written Instructions are placed on record.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. ________________ NYAPATHY VIJAY, J.
