HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - A No. - 13873 of 2025 Court No. - 7 HON'BLE MANISH MATHUR, J.
1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner, Mr. S.B. Pandey, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India assisted by Mr. Varun Pandey, learned counsel for opposite parties 2 to 5.
2. Present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed challenging order dated 13.11.2006 whereby petitioner's services on the post of CT/GD in the Central Reserve Police Force has been dismissed.
3. Learned counsel for opposite parties has raised a preliminary objection regarding entertainability of this petition in view of fact that impugned order has been challenged after almost 19 years without any cogent reason being indicated in the petition.
4. Learned counsel for petitioner has drawn attention to paragraph 43 of the writ petition to submit that petitioner was medically unfit till 30.05.2017, thereafter had been facing economic adversity and could not file the petition within time.
5. Upon consideration of submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and perusal of material on record, it is evident that impugned order having been passed on 13.11.2006 has been challenged after almost 19 years. There is no cogent explanation for such a belated challenge to impugned order. The grievance of Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sandeep Kumar Pandey Counsel for Respondent(s) :
