It is the case of the petitioners that in due recognition of their possession, the 4‘*^ respondent granted assignment in their favour on 10.03.2011. It is further case of the petitioners that they are in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said land since the date of grant. It is further stated that the names of the petitioners were mutated in the revenue records. Copies of the same are filed along with the writ petition. It is the case of the petitioners that while so, contractors interfered with the possession of the petitioners on 06.05.2022 and on 07.05.2022 and tried to dig pits over the lands and when the said action was questioned by the petitioners, it was informed to the petitioners that they are doing so at the instance of the 4‘^ respondent as the land is required for Government schemes. As the 4‘^ respondent without issuing any notice and without following due process of law tried to interfere with the possession of the petitioners, they approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. 2. At the stage of admission, by order dated 12.05.2022, this Court directed the respondents not to interfere with the possession of the 4 petitioners in respect of the subject land for the same was subsequently extended. a period of six weeks and 3. In view of the same the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents interfere with the possession of the petitioners in respect of the subject land, except in accordance with law.
