GP FOR HOME 3 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a Writ, or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th Respondent in failing to take consequential steps including investigation and other proceedings as per Cr.P.C. pursuant to Registration of Complaint in FIR No. 454 of 2020, dated 25.05.2020 on its file against the Respondents No. 5 by omitting Respondent No. 6 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of Cr.P.0 and consequently direct the respondents No. 4 to forthwith conduct the investigation pursuant to the registration of complaint in FIR No. 454/2020 dated 25.05.2020 by adding Respondent No. 6 and causing the arrest of the named accused and pass such pass....…” 2. Heard Sri Suresh Kumar Reddy Kalava, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the police to investigate and file a report. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions, this writ petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to conclude the investigation and file a report according to law, if it is not filed already as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, since the crime is of the year 2020.
