Heard Sri Roshan Lal, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing for Union of India. 1. The grievance raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition is with regard to the alteration in the date of birth recorded in passport No.C 5481654 according to the application on the basis of which the passport was issued and the date of birth of the petitioner has been shown as 10.8.1986 while now the petitioner submits that his correct date of birth is 1.7.1994. 2. It has been submitted by Sri Varun Pandey, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Union of India that the application was duly considered by Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow but no orders were passed in as much as the petitioner did not appear on the date fixed i.e. 24.10.2025 at 2.00 p.m. 3. Considering the fact that the respondents are ready and willing to consider and decide the application and submit that it is the petitioner who has to appear before the authorities and verify the documents submitted by him pursuant to which appropriate orders would be passed by Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow. 4. Ministry Of External Affairs New Delhi And Another .....Respondent(s) In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for he respondents, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow on 26.11.2025 at 12 P.M. In case for certain reasons the matter can not be taken up on 26.11.2025 Regional Passport Officer shall fix another date within next ten days which shall be duly communicated to the petitioner and on which date he shall proceed to consider and disposed of the application of the petitioner for change of his date of birth. 5.
