The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 251 of 2024 arising out of Mango P.S. Case No. 350 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 333, 307, 326, 302, 414, 120B, 34 of the I.P.C. and under Section 25(1-B)(a), 26, 27, 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jamshedpur. 3. On 08.12.2023, the accused persons had fired upon the police party near Road No. 16 Jawaharnagar in which one Ramdeo Mahto sustained injury and he succumbed to it. One of the miscreants, namely Sanjay Sarkar was apprehended and, on his confession, name of the petitioner and several co- accused persons had transpired. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that apart from confession, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jamshedpur in connection with S.T.
