BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BUDI HABUNG ORDER Date : 27.08.2025 Heard Mr. N. Ananad, learned counsel for the applicant/claimant. Also heard Mr. S. Sharma, learned counsel for the Insurance Company.
2. It is submitted that the matter has already been settled before the National Lok Adalat on 08.03.2025, whereby the parties have jointly settled the amount for Rs. 8,50,000/-. Earlier an amount of Rs. 4,25,000/- has already been deposited before the Registry of this Court and the balance amount of Rs. 4,25,000/- settled before the Lok Adalat was also deposited before the Registry which was already withdrawn by the claimant/applicant.
3. By this application, the applicant/claimant prays for release of Rs. 4,25,000/- deposited earlier by the respondent New India Assurance Co.Ltd before the Registry of this Court.
4. Mr. Sharma, learned counsel for the Insurance Company has no objection.
5. In view of the above, the prayer for release of the balance amount of Rs. 4,25,000/- is allowed.
6. The Registry is directed to release the said amount of Rs. 4,25,000/- to the applicant/claimant No.1, Smti Niroda Devi after proper verification and

7. With the above, the I.A. stands disposed of.
