This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C has been preferred by the applicants for quashing of the proceedings of Criminal Case No. 7616 of 2024 (State Vs. Ramakant and others) and charge sheet dated 25.11.1998 as well as summoning order dated 4.1.1999, arising out of Case Crime No. 147 of 1998, under Section 147/506 IPC, Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Sultanpur, pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 17, Sultanpur, 3. Learned counsel for the applicants has filed a compromise in compliance of the order dated 11.9.2025, passed by this Court. The compromise is taken on record.The matter pertains to Case Crime No. 147 of 1998, under Sections 147 and 506 IPC. The parties have entered into compromise and the matter is 27 years of old, therefore, no useful purpose would be served to continue the present litigation. 4. After considering all the facts, reasons, circumstances and the compromise entered into between the parties, the proceedings of Criminal Case No. 7616 of 2024 (State Vs. Ramakant and others) and charge sheet dated 25.11.1998 as well as summoning order dated Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Amit Kumar Singh Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A., Sneha Singh Pawan Kumar @ Pawan Singh And Another .....Applicant(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Deptt. Home Lko. And Another .....Opposite Party(s) 4.1.1999, arising out of Case Crime No. 147 of 1998, under Section 147/506 IPC, Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Sultanpur, pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 17, Sultanpur, is hereby quashed. 5.
