Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the appeal has been pending for over a year and notice was issued on 25.11.2024, the appellate authority has not yet finalized appeal till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. the 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed on record written instructions issued by the District Magistrate, Prakasam District vide Rc.No.D6/452/2025, dated 07.05.2025. It is stated therein that the ROR appeal file, vide Rc.No.D6/175/2024, has been transferred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kanigiri, pursuant to the provisions of the Act No.08 of 2025 i.e. The Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. It is further new amendment 3 stated that all future proceedings, including hearings, will be conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kanigiri. 4. Perused the material available on record. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case. 5. the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kanigiri, who is now the competent appellate authority and who received the Appeal and he is directed to consider the appeal and pass appropriate orders. after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and other stakeholders including respondents , within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
