Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. 3. According to the petitioner, the subject land is classified as a Grama Nathan land. Though the petitioner purchased the property by way of a sale deed, it is classified as Grama Natham, and if the petitioner had constructed any house on it, he would be entitled to patta. However, even according to the petitioner, the land is being used only as a cattle shed. Therefore, when the land is classified as Grama Natham and is not being used for residential purposes, the representation submitted by the petitioner to issue patta in respect of the said land cannot be considered. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.38427 of 2025 4.
