The petitioner is an accused in connection with Gumla PS Case No. 91/2025. The petitioner was suspected to have enticed away the daughter of the informant. The dead body of the daughter of the informant was recovered on 14.03.2025. Although it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no direct evidence to indicate about the involvement of the petitioner in committing the murder of the daughter of the informant but it appears that there was regular conversation over telephone between the deceased and the petitioner and there are other circumstances which indicates about the culpability of the petitioner in the murder.
