Shri Puneet Chandra has put in appearance on behalf of respondent and has filed a compliance affidavit/ Short counter affidavit which is taken on record. Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that in the writ petition the direction is for respondent no.2, i.e., Estate Management Officer to decide the representation of the applicant whereas the applicant has arrayed the respondent who is Commissioner, U.P. Awas Evam Vikas Parishad. It is further submitted that the Estate Management Officer had already decided the representation of the applicant by passing an order dated 03.8.2024 and copy of which has been forwarded to the applicant through registered post. Copy of the same is enclosed along with the compliance affidavit and the present contempt applicant has been filed thereafter on 07.8.20.2024. At this stage, learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that due to some inadvertent mistake the respondent has been made party in the present contempt application and the judgment and order passed in the writ petition has already been complied with, so, the present contempt application has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous. As such the present contempt application is dismissed as infructuous. Notice, if any, is hereby discharged.
