The present petition has been filed by the Delhi Amateur Wushu Association (DAWA), a duly registered and recognized State-level Sports Association responsible for promoting and regulating the sports of Wushu in the National Capital of Territory of Delhi. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner is affiliated with the Wushu Association of India (WAI). 3. The petitioner herein is aggrieved by the respondent no. 2’s action of declaring the selection trials conducted by petitioner for the 25th Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship as ‘unauthorized’ and ‘invalid’. 4. The aforesaid championship, with regard to which the present petition has been filed, have already been concluded. As such, the prayers in the present petition have been rendered infructuous. During the course of hearing, attention is also drawn to the fact that in a civil suit filed by the petitioner herein, bearing no. CS 78/2018, certain interim order/s have been passed by the concerned Court (JSCC-cum-ASCJ- cum-Guardian Judge, South East, Saket Courts) regarding conduct of trials for the Junior National Wushu Championships. The said civil suit is stated to be still pending. 6. As such, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petitionon this account as well. 7. During the course of hearing, attention has been drawn to an upcoming tournament scheduled in July, 2025, i.e., 24th 8. During the proceedings, respective counsel for the parties have agreed that the trials for selection of the Delhi Team for the said event would be conducted by the respondent no. 1; and the list of the sportsperson who shall participate in the trial shall be provided by the petitioner to the respondent no. 1.It is agreed that the same shall be a one-time arrangement applicable only for the aforesaid tournament. Junior National Wushu (Boys & Girls) Championship, 2025 in Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad from 01.07.2025 to 06.07.2025. 9. As far as the trials for future tournaments/event are concerned, the parties will be at liberty to approach the concerned civil court already seized of the matter, for appropriate orders.
