Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has sought for the following substantial reliefs :- "i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 & 3 to cancel the assessment made on the basis of GIS Survey and realize the house tax as per assessment made in the year, 2018. ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no.3 to adjust the amount paid to the Nagar Nigam in the house tax of coming years after deciding the objection/representation of the petitioner." 3. Upon due consideration, we are of the view that the respondent No.2 should be directed to pass a reasoned order on the reassessment of the house tax payable by the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, the respondent No.2/ Nagar Ayukt, Nagar Nigam, Lucknow is directed to pass a reasoned order on the reassessment of the house tax payable by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from date after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
