ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India seeking the following reliefs:-
“to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents more particularly respondent Nos. 2 to 4 herein in failing to initiate action against the respondent No. 5 under A.P. Assigned Lands (POT) Act, 1977 as being illegal, unjust, arbitrary, violative of the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands Prohibition of Transfer Act, 1977 and violative of Articles 14, 19(1)(g) and 300-A of the Constitution of India and Consequently direct the respondent Nos. 2 4 to restore possession of land admeasuring an extent of Ac. 1.50 cents In Sy. No.20/24, Ac. 1.50 cents In Sy.No.20/25 and Ac.0.50 cents in Sy.No.20/26 of Gopamambapuram Village, Rajampet Mandal, Annamayya District to the petitioners and pass such other order. ”
2. Heard
learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents.

Though the petitioners made several allegations against the respondents, during hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court, without touching the merits of the case, to a direction to the respondents to dispose of the issue representation/application dated 03.03.2025 submitted by the petitioners.

4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue readily agreed to dispose of the representation/application dated 03.03.2025, if any pending with the respondents.
5. In view of the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, this Court need not decide the truth or otherwise of the allegations made in the petition. This Court is conscious that no such direction be issued, in view of the
judgment of the Apex Court in P.Venkatesh^”, wherein the Apex Court held that such orders may The Government of India v. make for a quick or easy disposal of cases in overburdened adjudicatory institutions. But, they do not serve to the cause of justice. As the learned counsel for the petitioners himself requested to issue a direction to dispose of the representation/applicatio n dated 03.03.2025, this Court find no other alternative except to issue such direction.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents consider and dispose of the to representation/application dated 03.03.2025 with reference to the entries made at the village assembly conducted regarding the issuance of DKT pattas (annexed at page No.38 of the Writ Affidavit), after providing opportunity of hearing to the parties 2019 (8) SCALE 544
