Petition has been filed seeking mainly for the following reliefs:- "(1) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to release all retired dues of the petitioner in terms of the old pension scheme, along with the interest at the rate of 12 percent per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual payment. (2) Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to grant the benefit of the Old Pension Scheme to the petitioner in terms of the Government Orders dated 28.06.2024 and 11.07.2024 and in the light of the judgment in U.P. Lekhpal Sangh vs. State of U.P. & Ors., 2023 (12) ADJ 109 and similar other petitions." 3. Since considering petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to file fresh representation before opposite party no.1 i.e. State of U.P. through Principal Secretary, Transport Department, U.P.
