IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH AT SHIMLA Review Petition No. 149 of 2024 Decided on 17th March 2025 Sh. Narender Singh …Petitioner Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others …Respondents Coram Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge 1Whether approved for reporting? For the petitioner: Mr. Rajat Kumar, Advocate. For the respondents: Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, Additional Advocate General. Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) CMP No.237 of 2024 By way of this application, a prayer has been made for condonation of delay in removing the objections in review petition. 2. In the light of the averments made in the application, the same is allowed and disposed of. Review Petition No.149 of 2024 3. By way of this review petition, the petitioner is seeking the review of the order passed by this Court primarily on the ground that the Court has erred in restricting the monetary relief for three years preceding the date of the filing of the writ petition, which could not have been done. 2 4. This Court is of the considered view that this cannot be a ground for filing a review petition. The Court in its wisdom has restricted the monetary benefits to three years preceding the date of the filing of the writ petition. In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the said adjudication made by the Court, then, the recourse open to the petitioner is to file an appeal; however, this cannot per se be termed as an error apparent on the face of the record. 5. Accordingly, as this Court does finds any error apparent on the face of record, the review petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
