The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “…..to issue a Writ, Direction or Order more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of Respondents in with hold retirement benefits of the Petitioner vide Employment No. 213457 is illegal, arbitrary, double jeopardy in violation of Article 14, 20 (2) of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to release the retirement benefits of the Petitioner, who retired from service on 31-12-2017 forthwith and pass such other order or orders……” 2 2. Sri T.D.Pani Kumar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the relief has become infructuous and petition may be disposed of. 3. None represented for the respondents. 4. In that view, the Writ Petition is dismissed, since relief has become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
