JUSTICE PRANJAL DAS ORDER 23.10.2025 1. Heard Mr. A. Hawari, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Ms. N. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This is an application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioners, namely, (i) Rakesh Karmakar and (ii) Pranjal Bhumij who are apprehending arrest in connection with Sonapur P.S. Case No. 121/2025 under Sections 3(5)/303(2)/317(2)/329(4) of the BNS, 2023. 3. The gist of allegations in the FIR dated 02.08.2025 pertains to theft of a sewing machine and information regarding the same was obtained by villagers, who then informed the police station. Thereafter, the police seized the sewing machine. 4. The present two petitioners were granted interim pre-arrest bail on 22.08.2025. 5. Case diary has been received. 6. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that investigation has revealed incriminating material against the two main accused. However, the witnesses examined have not implicated the present two petitioners. 7. It is further submitted that pursuant to grant of interim, they Page No.# 3/3 have also appeared before the I.O and their statements have been recorded. 8. In the given situation, it is not necessary to cancel the interim bail and accordingly, the same is made absolute subject to the condition that – i) They shall co-operate with the process of law 9.
