HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW APPLICATION U/S 482 No. - 7808 of 2019 Court No. - 29 HON'BLE MANOJ BAJAJ, J. Applicants being accused in S.T. No.315 of 2016, titled State Vs. Ladaite and others have preferred this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to challenge the order dated 9.9.2019 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, court no.7, Unnao, whereby their application seeking discharge was dismissed. When the case is called, no one has appeared to represent the applicants- accused. A perusal of the paper book would show that the petition was filed in the year 2019 and the same has been adjourned on number of occasions. There is even no notice issued to the other side and the petition is still at the admission stage. Considering the nature of the impugned order and the fact that as a consequence the trial must have progressed, therefore, this Court has no hesitation in holding that the alleged cause of action raised in the petition does not survive any more. The petition is dismissed. December 1, 2025 Raj Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Padam Ranjan Bhatt Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : Govt. Advocate (Manoj Bajaj,J.)
