The instant writ petition has been filed against the order dated 27.07.2005, whereby the representation of the petitioner was rejected. A bare perusal of the order dated 27.07.2005 indicates that the petitioner was transferred as disciplinary proceedings were pending against him. Today, when the matter was taken up, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner to press this writ petition. The transfer order is of the year 2005, against which the representation was made and subsequently rejected. The same has lost its efficacy with the passage of time, as the transfer is a recurring administrative action taken by the department on a yearly basis.
