HARI HARANADHA SARMA WRIT APPEAL No.582 of 2025 JUDGMENT: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice Battu Devanand) This appeal is filed against the order dated 29.04.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in I.A.No.1 of 2025, wherein the respondents therein are directed to consider the case of persons working as Assistant Hydrogeologists, including that of petitioner, for promotion in the existing vacancies of Assistant Director (Hydrogeoiogist) in terms of Memo No.2194182/Ser.lll/2023, dated 08.12.2023, if they are otherwise found eligible and falling under the zone of consideration and since the tenure of DPC is to expire, the Court further directed that the said exercise shall be undertaken and completed before the said period. It appears that the appellant herein is subsequently impleaded in W.P.No.10618 of 2025 as one of the respondents. He filed this appeal against the interim order passed in I.A.No.1 of 2025 in the said writ petition. 2. During the course of hearing of the Writ Appeal, Sri Venu Gopala Rao, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent No.1 and learned Government Pleader for the respondent Nos.2 and 3, on instructions would submit that interim order passed in I.A.No.1 of 2025 in W.P.No.10618 of 2025 has been complied with and promotions are affected. They also placed a copy 3. 'r 2 of the proceedings dated 25.06.2025. On perusal of the same, it appears that the respondent No.1 herein is temporarily promoted as Assistant Director (Hydrogeology) and directed him to join in the promoted post immediately and to intimate the date of joining to the concerned. 1 In view of the above factual position, as the Writ Appeal is filed 4. against the interim order passed by the learned Single Judge has already been complied with and the main Writ Petition is pending for consideration before the learned Single Judge, as such, in our considered view, nothing survives in the present Writ Appeal for further adjudication. Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. 5. However, it is open to the appellant to make request before the learned Single Judge to take up the Writ Petition for hearing at an earlierdate along with the connected Writ Petition. 6.
