(Oral) Learned counsel representing the petitioner, on instructions, states that the petitioner would be content and satisfied in case directions are issued to the respondents to consider and decide her pending representation dated 16.12.2024 (Annexure P-8) of the petitioner in a time bound manner. 2. Ms. Sharmila Patial, learned Additional Advocate General, while putting appearance on behalf of the respondents, fairly states that she is not averse to aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court without going into the merits of the case deems it fit to dispose of the present ( 2025:HHC:24330 ) - 2 - petition with a direction to Principal Secretary (Transport) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh to consider and decide the pending representation dated 16.12.2024 (Annexure P-8) of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of instant order, shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass detailed speaking order thereupon taking note of notification dated 6.1.2024 amending the rate of Special Road Tax (Annexure P-5). Till the disposal of the representation, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner for recovery of road tax qua the commercial vehicle owned by her.
