Mr.D.R.Arun Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3. The petitioner made an application to the respondents for establishment of 1 MW Solar Power Plant as per TNERC's Solar Order No.5 of 2018 dated 28.03.2018 and the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.11,46,809/- on 22.01.2021. Subsequently, the petitioner's proposal ws dropped in the stage of making application and load flow study itself. Accordingly, the petitioner has been claiming refund of the refundable security deposit of Rs.10,00,000/- by way of representation dated 01.12.2021. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 45826 of 2025 4.Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to refund Rs.10,00,000/- payable to the petitioner towards refundable security deposit by considering the petitioner’s rerepsentation dated 01.12.2021, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 5.In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion of the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 01.12.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved party, if any. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
