ORDER This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.
2. The case was registered in Cr.No.123 of 2021 dated 17.12.2021 for the alleged offence under Section 379 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. The stolen property has been recovered and handed over to the defacto complainant. There are no other previous or subsequent cases pending against the accused. Suo Motu TR.No.9348 of 2025 conducts hybrid hearings, the filing of written affidavits or terms of compromise is dispensed with. Considering the factual matrix, the context in which the conflict arose, the background of the parties, and their present position, this is an appropriate case for the exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as per Gian Singh -Vs State of Punjab & another, (2012 10 SCC 303).
3. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.209 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Tiruvallur Taluk, Tiruvallur, shall stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands disposed of. 07.10.2025 sms Note to the Trial Court: This order is digitally signed and communicated electronically alone.
