The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rania P.S. Case No. 24/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 303(2)/ 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 12 of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Slaughter Act, 2005, pending in the Court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.9951 of 2024 by order dated 11.02.2025. On 19.07.2024, cow of the informant was stolen by unknown persons. Later on, the informant came to know that his cow was slaughtered by the petitioner with the help of co-accused Pitar Topno. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2024. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with Rania P.S.
