The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ranka P.S. Case No.101 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. No.805 of 2023, for the offence under Sections 385/387/34 of the I.P.C., Sections 25(1-B)/a/ 25(6)/26/35 of the Arms Act, Section 17 of the C.L.A, Act, pending in the court of learned C.J.M. Garhwa. On 01.07.2023, Ranka police apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons from the place near Sinjo Forest area and on search, one 12 bore gun was recovered from the possession of co-accused Sita Ram Chaudhary. It was submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that petitioner has remained in custody for about two years. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M.
