By the present writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the advertisement dated 12.03.2024 issued by Chief Medical Health OfÏcer and Annexure P/2 i.e. the selection list, after recruitment on the basis of the advertisement dated 12.03.2024. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the advertisement was for recruitment to the post of Block Manager- Account on the basis of which the applications were invited to fill the post of OBC and ST category and pursuance to the said advertisement and after the selection process, the respondent no. 4 & 5 has been selected. Learned counsel submits that the post advertised for the OBC and ST categories is illegal and arbitrary as the roster of reservation were not followed properly. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the advertisement was of the date 12.03.2024 and the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition questioning the advertisement after a delay of more than one year and at this stage, the writ petition is not maintainable, however he submits that the advertisement for the 3 post of Block Manager- Account was only fulfilling the backlog post from the category of OBC and ST and there is no illegality in the reservation made in the said advertisement dated 12.03.2024. 4. I have heard both the parties and perused the pleadings as well as the contention of the respondent. 5. By looking to the contention of the respondent that the advertisement was for filling backlog vacancy and the advertisement is of the date 12.03.2024 and presently after more than one year delay, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner questioning the advertisement, hence there is no substance in the writ petition, the writ petition filed by the petitioner is liable to be and is hereby dismissed.
