The petitioner had approached this Court by filing the instant writ petition being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authority in their failure to grant family pension. However, during the pendency of this writ petition, family pension payable to the petitioner has been processed and sanctioned. Mr. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the writ petitioner has also produced a copy of the order dated 30-05-2024 issued by the Sr. Accounts Officer in the office of the AG(A&E), Assam, which supports the said submission. If that be so, no live issue survives for adjudication in this case. Consequently, by retaining a copy of the order dated 30-05-2024 in the record of this case, this writ petition stands closed.
