The respondents are directed to hold review Departmental Promotion Committee meeting and consider the name of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Senior Assistant w.e.f. year 2016 at par with that of his counterparts/juniors on the basis of his Intermediate Certificate dated 26.09.1995 from ‘Madhyakik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh’. The requisite action be taken within six weeks. The result thereof be also taken to its logical conclusion within aforesaid period.” 2. In the said meeting, Committee found the petitioner eligible for promotion to the post of Senior Assistant w.e.f. 26.07.2016 and eligible for further promotion to the post of Superintendent Grade-II i.e. from the dates of promotion of his counterparts/ juniors. These promotion orders were accordingly issued by the respondents. 3. It appears that petitioner has surviving grievances with respect to his pay fixation consequent to promotion. If so, it is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for redressal of his aforesaid or any other surviving grievance. Reserving this liberty, present proceedings are closed. Notice issued to respondents are discharged. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
