The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rania P.S. Case No.24 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 303(2)/3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 12 of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Slaughter Act, 2005, pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.10528 of 2024 by order dated 19.12.2024 with a liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months. On 19.07.2024, cow of the informant was stolen by unknown persons. During the enquiry, it transpired that this petitioner along with co- accused Sujit Dahanga had slaughtered the cow of the informant. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2024. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with Rania P.S.
