Heard Shri M Pathak, learned counsel for the applicant, who by means of this application has sought for impleadment of the incumbent, namely, Superintendent of Police, Barpeta as the respondent no. 6 in the connected writ petition. Shri Pathak, learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the aforesaid incumbent is a necessary party whose presence would be required for a complete adjudication of the matter. Shri P Sharma, learned Addl. Sr. Government Advocate, Assam does not object to the prayer for impleadment. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the subject matter involved in the connected writ petition, we are of the opinion that the prayer for impleadment is required to be allowed. Accordingly, the IA stands allowed and the aforesaid incumbent, namely, Superintendent of Police, Barpeta is permitted to be arrayed as the respondent no. 6 in the connected writ petition.
