The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 19/2025 arising out of Saiko P.S. Case No. 05/2025, for the offence registered under Section 18(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Khunti. 3. On 27.01.2025, Saiko police, on the basis of confidential information that illegal poppy was being grown, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended two persons who were working as laborers in the field. 4. It was submitted that the land on which poppy was being grown does not belong to the petitioner. It was further submitted that the petitioner was weeding grass there. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but has not disputed the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Khunti in connection with N.D.P.S.
