(Oral) By way of this peon filed under Arcle 226/227 of the Constuon of India, peoner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for direcng the respondents to fixed the pension of the peoners strictly in compliance of the provision provided under Clause 5.1 (a) of the Noficaon dated 29.10.2021 (Annexure P.1) issued by the Government of Punjab and illustrated vide Noficaon dated 22.07.2022 (Annexure P.2) along with arrears w.e.f. 01.01.2016 along with interest. 2. Learned counsel for the peoners contends that peoners had also served a legal noce dated 17.09.2024 (Annexure P.3) pu5ng in forth their grievances, but that legal noce has has not been responded by the respondents ll date. 3. Learned counsel also submits that the peoners will be sasfied in case the respondents are directed to take a decision on the legal noce dated 17.09.2024 (Annexure P.3) by passing a speaking order in the me bound manner. 3. Noce of moon. 4. Mr. Rajesh Sehgal, Addl. AG, Punjab, accepts noce on behalf of the respondents. He has no objecon to the prayer made by learned counsel for the peoners. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the pares and have gone through the record of the case. 6.
