Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 212 of 2022, for the offence under Sections 25(1-B)(a), 26, 27 & 35 of the Arms Act, Section 17 of the CLA Act and Sections 307 & 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj.
On 10.09.2022 at about 4:00 p.m., Chainpur Police received an information that extremists belonging to J.J.M.P extremist organization have resorted to firing near Kechaki bridge in order to terrorize the local people.
It was submitted that petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that co-accused persons have been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 212 of 2022.
