Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has suffered an order and award passed at the hands of the IV Additional District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bengaluru. However, the petitioner has also filed an appeal before the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Appeal No.SC/29/FA/157/2025 on 13.02.2025 along with the statutory deposit. Nevertheless, the grievance of the petitioner is that although the appeal has been filed and the statutory deposit is made, the matter is not being considered either for admission or for interim prayer. Therefore, the learned counsel submits that the matter may be disposed of with a specific direction to the Commission to take up the matter for admission and consider the interim prayer made as expeditiously as - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:7445 WP No. 4874 of 2025 possible, since the respondent has initiated execution of the orders passed by the District Consumer Commission. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of requesting the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to take up the appeal filed by the petitioner in Appeal No.SC/29/FA/157/2025 and consider the same for admission and for interim relief, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. Having regard to the grievance made out by the petitioner, the execution authority is also hereby directed not to precipitate the matter till the matter is taken up by the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, in terms of the directions issued by this Court.
