Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:20515 Court No. - 10 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 1789 of 2025 Petitioner :- Madan Mohan Malviya Post Graduate College, Bhatpar Rani And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Gautam Baghel,Shivendera Rajwar Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J. 1. Heard Sri Gautam Baghel, learned counsel for petitioners and Sri Santosh Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for State- Respondents. 2. It is not in dispute that petitioner-College has submitted applications dated 18.07.2024 and 17.10.2024 before Respondent- 3, i.e., Regional Higher Education Officer, Gorakhpur Region, Gorakhpur seeking prior permission for initiating selection process of Class-III employees in Institution, however, till date said applications have not been considered. 3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for State-Respondents submits that concerned respondent will take a reasoned decision within a very short period. 4. I have considered the above submissions. The lethargy of Respondent-3 that he has not decided applications which are pending before him for last about six months, has forced petitioner to approach this Court for a relief that said applications be decided expeditiously. Therefore, while disposing off this writ petition not only it is directed that Respondent-3 will decide aforesaid applications within a very short period, but a cost of Rs. 1000/- is also imposed on him to be deposited before High Court Legal Service Committee for keeping the applications pending for last more than six months without any reason.
