Precisely, the grouse of the petitioner as has been highlighted in the petition and further canvassed by learned counsel for the petitioner is that, though at first instance, petitioner had applied for appointment on compassionate ground qua Class-III post, but subsequently on the objection raised by the respondent- Department, he applied afresh, praying therein for compassionate appointment qua Class –IV post, but till date, application made by him in the year, 2021 has not been considered.

While putting appearance on behalf of the respondents, Mr. Ravi Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General states that application, if not already decided, shall be decided expeditiously.

Consequently, in view of fair stand adopted by learned Deputy Advocate General, the present petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent No.2 to consider and decide the pending application of the petitioner sympathetically, who has already lost his parents, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks, taking note of policy in vogue at the time of death of late mother of the petitioner. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
