Admittedly, the petitioners’ representation seeking for rectification of chitta and patta is yet to be considered by the official respondents. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 47080 of 2025 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioners’ representation seeking for rectification of chitta and patta is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 8 as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire. 5.Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 5 to 8 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 5 to 8 is dispensed with. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners’ representation dated 06.11.2025 seeking for rectification of chitta and patta for the properties, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after issuing notice to the respondents 5 to 8 as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire and after considering their objections within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
