2. The petitioner in this writ petition has prays for the following reliefs:
“(i) for payment of increment of salary w.e.f 01.01.1986, as the similarly situated persons have got the benefit of increment from their date of joining. (ii) for payment of revised pension on the basis of revised pay scale. (iii) for payment of benefit of ACP/MACP as the petitioner has completed the service from 01.04.1985 to 31.03.2017, as such, the petitioner has completed about 32 years of service, but, in the entire service, the petitioner has not been given promotion or the benefit of ACP/MACP. (iv) for payment of pay scale of Rs. 1500 – Rs. 2750, w.e.f initial date of joining 01.04.1985. (v) for issuance of direction upon the respondents for making the payment of annual increments with effect from their date of joining as has been given to the other similarly situated persons.

3. After going through the writ petition, I am of the opinion at the first instance that the respondents should take decision on the prayer made by the petitioner, considering the eligibility of the petitioner.
4. Thus, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent nos. 3 and 5. It is expected that both the respondents will take appropriate decision and will pass reasoned
order.
5. If the University finds the petitioner entitled for the benefit, the recommendation will be sent to the Government who will act upon it thereafter.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
